The ChurroBots are a team of dedicated and creative high school students who compete in the FIRST® Robotics Competition. We welcome students of all experience levels—no applications, just an interest form. Just show up, get involved, and find where you shine!
Whether you're interested in building, design, programming, media, or outreach, there’s a place for you. Along the way, you’ll learn valuable skills, make lasting friendships, and have lots of fun!
ChurroBots is run by the East Palo Alto Robotics Foundation and supported by Hope Horizons.
Our robotics journey began in 2014 with a single FIRST® LEGO® League team in partnership with Hope Horizon, eventually expanding to three teams and inspiring a passion for STEM in our community. With guidance from the Space Cookies (Team 1868), we entered our first Cal Games and earned the Highest Seeded Rookie Award, propelling us forward. In 2024, we proudly competed at the FIRST® World Championships.
